We welcome the opportunity to work with you in creating a unique hand painted item. The usual turn around time for a commission is a month. However, there are variables that may increase the length of time to produce a special piece - the availability of the china, the subject matter, size - all these factors may add to production time. In negotiating a piece for commission, such elements will be discussed, and a reasonable completion time will be estimated. If a commission is needed for a specific date (birthday, anniversary, etc) which necessitates a "rush order" extra fee will be added to the cost. Portraits of people & animal portraits are painted from photograpic references. The porcelain tiles used are the best quality and specially meant for portraits.
