    “Cross Roads” Resin on wood

I use different mediums to get different effects in my paintings. I started using resin along with fluid acrylics, inks, pearlescent, metallic powders and spray paint. With blow torch help, I create the beautiful details. I might add chemicals which creates more of the desired effects. Careful layering and manipulation produce vibrant abstracts, bursting with energy, with a glass-like finish. It’s taken me time and many attempts to develop my own style of using resin, to get the effects I want. There is an element of danger added as the fumes are sweet but deadly. The process begins with the mixing of the resin and its catalyst; a chemical reaction ensues and time becomes an important dimension in the work. Fluid motion is the natural flow that can be controlled only to a point, It’s about learning how and when to let go. The painting you see is the summarization of many layers and chemical reactions polymerized.

    “Destination”

Just a little insight into my world of resin painting!

(I always have my memories with beach. Long time back every evening we used to spend time in the beach with friends and family.)

Fluid motion is beautiful challenging perfection, a natural flow that can be controlled only to a point — which is a good life lesson. It’s about learning how and when to let go. Syringes, needles and a propane torch help move the resin. The polymerized painting portrays its temporal history as it captures the slow flow of resin. These paintings continue to move for hours after the resin is applied. The painting you see is the final scene of a moving picture whose history is encoded in layers of resin.

Figurative art is a form of artwork that has existed for thousands of years in cultures all around the world.
Figurative art refers to any form of art that clearly represents an image from the real world. Figurative art, beginning in antiquity, has a lineage that runs through many schools of modern and contemporary art. Though the term figurative art commonly refers to art that has the human figure or animal figures as its subject, the term can also be used in the more general sense of distinguishing representational art from abstract art.

Painting portraits is said to be a intricate genre of fine arts. The making of a self portrait is already challenging itself because of the challenge it entails to paint someone’s figure. What makes this more difficult is the truth that a self portrait should realize the character, inner life, and irreconcilability of the subject.
In spite of being puzzling, a lot of portrait artists confess that portrait paintings is their loved genre. A painted portrait discloses their effort and gives emphasis to their invested time and effort on something that is thought of by many as a masterpiece. As they paint a painted portrait of a friend, a group of individuals, or a portrait of sweethearts, they view themselves as binders of affection and a means of perpetuating care and romance. Portrait artists are, in fact, called as preservers of life’s elegance.

Portrait artists bring you amazing lifelike portraits. A pleasant oil painting portrait is a good investment of your money. There is a sense of style and life in every photo and this is what a portrait artist gets to see as they create a lasting oil painting portrait for you. I love to work on commissions and portray people with their special characteristic features.

Similar painting can be created on order.

Abstract art requires the viewer to contemplate study and ask themselves “What am I feeling?” I enjoy being a part of that interactive experience with the person viewing my art. The impression could be of total awe or disgust, but a great abstract piece of art is sure to command a reaction.

One thing viewers and seekers of art should learn is similar to great listeners; listen, feel, see touch, review, analyze, ponder, and taste with your eyes and the eyes of your soul.

“Art must be, somehow, essential for life. In fact, art is part of survival, is part of the human spirit, an unquenchable expression of who we are; art is one of the ways in which we say, “I am alive, and my life has meaning.”

Regardless of all these influences, the core of abstract art paintings remains the capturing of the essence of the artist’s subconscious on canvas.
